Full-screen photos seduce the visitor. And with one scroll, headers, buttons and text slide over images. This moving layer gives the website its own character. Inspired by the German strictness of the DIN font and the anarchism of the Sex Pistols, we have renewed and enriched the visual language of the Design Museum. The yellow highlights give the design excitement. And to move away from the modest image, robust quotes appear as „Someday other museums will be showing this stuff.“

The collection is also for sale in the Design Museum – an important source of income for the unsubsidized museum. To increase sales, the entire website is action-oriented and there are unique limited editions and special products in the webshop.

During my time at fabrique, Delft, I was given the tremendous opportunity to lead the design initiative for the official website of The Design Museum. The prime objective of this project was to create an aesthetically appealing platform that would effortlessly capture the visitors' attention. Therefore, I designed a bold and eye-catching website that revolved around large and impactful graphics. Additionally, my teammates and me developed a User Interface that was not only responsive but also equipped with an effortless Content Management System. This allowed the client to edit, upload, and manage content inclusion on their own, providing them with complete autonomy of the website.
