ROAM is a nature-based psychotherapy service rooted in the belief that true healing unfolds through connection to self, others, and nature. Offering an alternative to the traditional therapy room, ROAM invites clients outdoors to experience the proven mental health benefits of movement, fresh air, and grounded presence in nature, all year round.
The design direction for ROAM draws deeply from the innate wisdom and rhythms of the natural world. Inspired by organic patterns such as the grain of aged wood and seasonal shifts, this concept is rooted in a sense of grounded curiosity and authentic connection. It evokes the quiet strength of the forest and the aliveness that comes from being in tune with yourself and your surroundings.
The ROAM icon is a hand-drawn, flowing form that symbolizes an outward journey, moving from the inner mind toward embodied awareness. It references the concentric rings of tree trunks, ripples in water, and other natural patterns, capturing the layered process of healing, growth, and connection. The icon stands confidently on its own or pairs seamlessly with the wordmark. The wordmark balances a grounded, classic design with soft, fluid details that reflect the harmony of structure and flow, which defines the ROAM experience.
The colour palette takes inspiration from forest walks. Deep greens and soft earth tones contrast with a bright, vibrant green reminiscent of new growth in spring. Shades of off-white, mint, lavender, and glacier bring softness and light, creating a calming yet enlivened visual experience. These colours speak to the brand’s identity: calm, wise, and deeply alive.
This visual identity supports ROAM’s mission to reconnect individuals with themselves, others, and the natural world through nature-based psychotherapy. It offers an experience that is both professional and profoundly human.
