The Marysville Community Food Bank (MCFB) sought a comprehensive rebrand to align its visual identity with its deep-rooted values of compassion, dignity, and zero-barrier access to food. 
Together with Sydney from Super Creative Co., we developed a unique, multifaceted brand that supports the brand’s mission of a welcoming presence that makes everyone feel supported.
The goal of the rebrand was multifaceted:
To create a warm, nonjudgmental, and approachable identity that could resonate with clients, donors, and volunteers alike.
To increase community outreach, particularly among underserved and minority populations, and attract a younger donor and volunteer base while still feeling familiar and trustworthy to their long-standing supporters.
To visually reflect their mission: “enhancing the lives of neighbours by nourishing their bodies, hearts, and souls to build a brighter future.”
To support operational needs with easy-to-use templates and consistent materials for digital, print, and event touchpoints.
To increase donations with a cohesive-looking campaign, look recognizable and engaging, not just known for their actions.
Crucially, MCFB needed a brand that felt real and grounded, one that acknowledged their scrappy, grassroots history and the reality of food insecurity without feeling corporate or polished beyond recognition. They requested a visual direction that was quirky but timeless, fun but respectful, and clear without being clinical.
At the heart of their brand is a community-first mindset: neighbours helping neighbours, with no barriers, no shame, and no judgment—only quality food, support, and hope.
