Lowcl Web — Full Rebrand for a Gen Z Digital Agency Franchise

Lowcl Web had a real opportunity and a brand that was getting in the way of it.
The business model was built around empowering young entrepreneurs to launch and operate digital agency franchises, essentially giving Gen Z founders a proven system to run their own agency without starting from zero. The concept was strong. The existing brand did not communicate any of that. It looked generic, read unclear, and gave nobody, whether a potential franchisee, an investor, or a community partner, a reason to believe this was a serious platform.
The rebrand needed to do three things simultaneously: speak to the ambitions of Gen Z without being patronizing, build credibility with investors and institutional stakeholders, and still feel energetic and accessible enough to attract young founders who do not respond to corporate branding.
I led the full rebranding engagement as lead Brand Designer and Brand Strategist from May through August 2025.
What I built:
Brand Strategy and Repositioning The first two weeks were spent entirely on strategy before a single visual was produced. I redefined the value proposition, established clear messaging pillars, and built a brand framework rooted in three themes: empowerment, education, and social impact. This gave every subsequent design decision a strategic filter to run through.
Visual Identity System A complete visual identity redesign built to strike the balance between energy and professionalism the brand required. Color system, typography, iconography, and graphic language developed specifically to appeal to a younger audience while maintaining the credibility needed for B2B and investor contexts. The system scales across franchise materials, digital platforms, and community-facing content.
Brand Messaging and Verbal Identity Rewritten value proposition, taglines, and messaging hierarchy covering the brand's voice across pitch decks, social campaigns, and onboarding materials. The verbal identity was developed in parallel with the visual system so both communicated the same positioning consistently.
Design System and Guidelines A complete scalable design system with guidelines covering digital presence, pitch materials, social campaigns, and franchise-facing collateral. Built so any franchisee or partner can create on-brand materials without needing a designer on every output.
Pitch and Digital Presence Direction Visual direction for pitch materials and digital presence built to convert skeptical investors and motivated young founders in the same breath.
The engagement ran three months, the longest on my profile, reflecting the depth of strategic work required before and during execution. Lowcl Web launched their rebrand with a complete brand system built to support franchise growth across the US.
