Zillow is the undisputed leader in U.S. real estate technology. Dominating the PropTech category, the platform operates at massive scale, averaging over 220 million unique users monthly. As a Design Leader, I led the strategy and execution for Zillow’s Pro Experience suite. My work focused on architecting Zillow Workspace and elevating complex B2B platforms and B2C touch-points, successfully launching high-performing products that currently serve tens of millions of users each month.

Project Scope & Key Contributions

Unified Payment Ecosystem

Architected the design strategy for Zillow’s unified payment flow and scalable component system, successfully powering 100% of transactions across both consumer (B2C) and professional (B2B) experiences. The comprehensive scope spanned checkout, quoting, wallet architecture, invoice management, credit application, usage visualization, and saved payment methods.

Zillow Workspace App

Redesigned main surfaces for the central dashboard and core operational tool for real estate agents and brokerages across the U.S. Drove the end-to-end product lifecycle from strategic testing and MVP definition through production iterations, optimizing the platform's primary entry points and critical user workflows.

Workspace Notification Architecture

Workspace Notification Architecture: Designed a comprehensive, systemic notification framework for Zillow Workspace. By defining complex delivery logic, granular user settings, and a strategic phased rollout, this initiative successfully resolved missed alerts (historically one of the most critical customer pain points).

Zillow Pro Strategic Design:

Led the core design strategy for "Zillow Pro," the company’s flagship B2B initiative designed to maximize value for real estate professionals. Delivered a frictionless, end-to-end experience encompassing user onboarding, enterprise seat assignment, team management, usage tracking, and integrated billing.
