Nebulae (🇺🇸) is a cryptocurrency Fintech app that helps on-chain traders discover and act on the hottest tokens in real time —all wrapped in a high-energy, gen-Z like UX. Nebulae acts as a competitor to Pump.fun & Moonshot.com

Internal users gave overwhelmingly positive feedback, praising clarity, flow and visual polish.
Delivered a full fintech MVP within 6 weeks, supported by clearer user journeys that reduced drop off during testing.
The design system brought uniformity across screens and saved development time, increasing stakeholder confidence in the product direction.

Having secured 1m in funding, Nebulae approached me for a redesign of their MVP that lacked clarity, consistency & visual appeal.
The brand felt flat, the UX created unnecessary friction & there was no design system to support scale or speed.

Set the Foundations
Lean Branding
We focus on establishing only the essential elements needed to get a product moving quickly, giving the team clarity and momentum without a full brand build.
Moodboarding
UI moodboards set the visual tone and atmosphere, providing a clear direction from the outset.

A scalable design system delivered consistency and efficiency, while leaving room for the brand to evolve.

Experience Architecture (not shown)
Mapping the entire user journey helped us define how users move through the product and what they need at each stage, improving where possible.
Wireframing
I would argue this is the most critical stage. Core UX principles come to life, from 'Progressive disclosure' to the use of 'Fitts Law'. We refined flows, reduced friction & established clear hierarchy. These wireframes form the blueprint for the product.

High Fidelity Design
This is where the product took its final form with polished visuals, refined interactions and a cohesive design language.
Interactive Prototyping
This happened thorughout Phase 2 and 3 bringing the experience to life, allowing the team to validate flows, test interactions and ensure every detail felt intuitive before handoff.
