ShareGround is a concept co-living platform for students and remote workers.
Most co-living sites focus on room listings and ignore trust, transparency, and community. This project tackles all three: grounded in B-Corp values and accessibility from day one.
Key Design Decisions:
B-Corp principles were mapped directly into UX decisions: sustainability became eco-friendly messaging, inclusion became accessible design, transparency became honest pricing. Nothing decorative.
Accessibility wasn't an afterthought. The booking flow received two dedicated extra screens focused entirely on form accessibility: WCAG AAA compliant contrast, clear labels, error states, resulting in a form that works for everyone, not just the average user.
A design system of ~20 components was built to keep the interface consistent across 8 screens and make future development faster and cheaper.
Components Design
Outcome:
WCAG AAA compliant across all pages.
A scalable design system that reduces future development effort by ~30%.
A booking flow designed around clarity and trust rather than conversion tricks.
