I switched Pathpoint from a costly age-banded employee insurance plan to a cheaper and more comprehensive composite plan, via evaluating and implementing a PEO.
The Spark ✨
As Pathpoint grew, they were experiencing ballooning benefits costs. They needed a way to make benefits costs more predictable while keeping the same employee contribution price.
One executive suggested trying out a professional employer organization. I worked with the company's general counsel to evaluate various PEOs, create a shortlist, compare benefits vs. costs, and make a final recommendation to the CEO. I also provided support to employees in the transition from the old insurance plan to the PEO.
The Stats 💯
Timeline: 2 months
Budget: parity with existing benefits costs
Deliverables:
• Request for Proposal to send to vendors
• Vendor Selection Matrix & Recommendation
• Cost Breakdown & Contribution Recommendations
• Helpdesk Support for Employees
