🌱 Discovery
The founders saw how standard marketing practices, agency dominance, and complex martech tools were overwhelming entrepreneurs. 45% of companies lack a clear marketing strategy — creating one is expensive and complex.
When I joined, DigitalFirst had 3,000+ accounts with over half active. Users split between company strategists (53%) and individual consultants (47%). The product scope was constantly evolving with the rapidly expanding AI tools market. Through data analysis and Growth Hacker interviews, I identified key UX issues and recommended next steps.
⚡️Execution process
Improvements
After analyzing the existing product, I identified and delivered fixes across three areas:
↗ First-time user experience — ~50% drop-off on pricing page during sign-up. Simplified onboarding, proposed reverse trial, and designed a Strategy Generator that evolved into a core feature.
↗ Mobile version — audit revealed screens lacking responsiveness entirely. Delivered accessible mobile version with UX/UI fixes.
↗ Dashboard — replaced generic shortcut layout with a PoC for daily task tracking and tactics execution.
