In 2022, I led early UX strategy and design for a new Bitstamp trading platform aimed at younger, less experienced users. The goal was to make crypto more accessible without alienating seasoned traders. I helped shape the product vision, created key user flows, wireframes, and initial UI, balancing simplicity with the depth expected of a trusted trading platform.
We started by digging into market trends, competitor gaps, and user personas, then validated ideas through early concept testing. The feedback was clear: people wanted a simpler, more human approach to crypto. We built on that with a custom design system that could flex as the product evolved.
The result was a cleaner, clearer trading experience that opened the door to a broader audience. Within 12 months, the app broke into the top 10 global crypto platforms on the App Store and won a UX Design Award for Best Product.
