Julia Shea Team — Real Estate Authority Website

Stack: Astro, Tailwind CSS, Decap CMS, DigitalOcean, Cloudflare

The brief

The team had finished designs and page visuals. What they didn't have was a site.
They needed the whole thing built — 24+ pages, a content system their team could actually use without calling a developer, IDX listings, and a contact form that dropped leads straight into KW Command. Fast, clean, and built to rank.

The problem

Most agent websites are slow WordPress builds stuffed with plugins. This team wanted the opposite: a site that loads instantly, ranks for local searches across five cities and seven neighborhoods, and doesn't break when someone edits a paragraph.
The other catch — 24 pages with near-identical structures. Building each one by hand would have been a maintenance nightmare.

What I built

Modular component system I broke the approved mockups into reusable Astro components — hero blocks, stat bars, testimonial sections, CTA bands, neighborhood cards. Every page is assembled from the same set. Change a component once, it updates everywhere.
24+ pages Homepage, 11 interior pages, 5 city pages, 6 Premium neighborhood pages, 1 Standard neighborhood page. The city and neighborhood templates share one structure with content driven from the CMS, so adding a new market later is a content task, not a dev task.
Decap CMS Git-based CMS wired to the repo. The team edits copy, swaps images, and publishes new neighborhood pages themselves. No database, no logins to maintain, no plugin updates.
KW IDX integration Live MLS listings pulled in through Keller Williams IDX iframe integration, styled to sit inside the site layout instead of looking bolted on.
Lead capture into KW Command Contact form wired through a Zapier webhook into KW Command, so every inquiry lands in the CRM the team already works out of. No manual copy-paste, no missed leads.
SEO and schema Full technical SEO pass — meta structure, internal linking between city and neighborhood pages, sitemap, and schema markup (RealEstateAgent, LocalBusiness, Breadcrumb). Built for local search intent across the Coastal Norfolk market.
Analytics and deployment GA4 and Google Search Console configured and verified. Deployed to DigitalOcean with Cloudflare in front for CDN, caching, and SSL.

The result

A fully static site — no server rendering, no database queries, no plugin bloat. Pages serve as pre-built HTML from Cloudflare's edge.
The team can publish new content on their own. Leads flow into their existing CRM. And the page structure gives them a real footprint across every city and neighborhood they work in, not one generic "Areas We Serve" page.
