Omni Browser – Custom Brave-Based Browser Development

When Omni reached out, they had a bold idea: “We want our own browser — something fast, private, crypto-ready and intelligent. And we want it on desktop and mobile.” They didn’t want to reinvent the wheel, but they did want something that felt truly theirs.

We took Brave’s open-source core, known for its privacy-first approach, and built the Omni Browser on top of it. The result is a fully branded browser that blends privacy, crypto and AI into one everyday tool, available on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS.

Omni needed more than a reskinned browser. The product had to:

We started by redesigning the browser experience from the ground up. A clean UI, a custom homepage with real-time widgets for crypto prices, news and weather, and direct access to Omni’s ecosystem, so users get what they need the moment they open a tab.

Instead of relying on extensions, we built Omni’s key features directly into the browser. That keeps them fast, secure and always available, with no setup needed from the user.

On top of Brave’s existing protections, we layered in extra privacy tools tailored to Omni’s audience, giving users more control over their browsing without making things complicated.

We built and optimized the browser for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS, making sure it felt native on each platform while keeping the same look and features everywhere.

Custom changes were kept clean and separate from the upstream core, so new Brave and Chromium updates can be merged without breaking Omni’s features.

Built-in VPN – users can browse safely without extra apps or extensions. One tap and they’re protected

Crypto Wallet – a secure, non-custodial wallet right inside the browser. No plugins, no headaches

AI Search Toggle – a simple switch to flip between regular search and AI-powered search
