Nick’s General Construction & Home Improvement is a trusted New Jersey-based company with over 20 years of experience in residential & commercial renovations. Specializing in custom decks, patios, hardscaping, and home improvement projects. Nick’s serves those who are seeking quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and reliable service.

The Challenge

Despite their strong local reputation and long-standing presence in the construction space, Nick’s lacked a cohesive social media presence. They weren’t actively showcasing their work or leveraging digital platforms to attract new leads.
They had no defined content strategy
Very little engagement or growth on social platforms
Missed opportunities to highlight past projects or build trust online
That’s where I came in. As a Social Media Manager & Content Creator, I was brought on to:
Establish a strong, local-focused social media presence
Develop a content strategy that highlights Nick’s craftsmanship, expertise, and client trust
Create engaging and educational content tailored to their target audience
Drive local traffic, build brand credibility, and ultimately generate quality leads

What I’ve Been Doing

Strategy Development
Defined 6 strategic content pillars including: Project Spotlights, Home Inspiration, Client Testimonials, Seasonal Tips, Behind-the-Scenes, and Local Community Focus
Aligned all content with ideal client pain points, interests, and homeowner goals
Platform Growth & Management
Created and optimized posts for Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest
Planned a content calendar for consistent posting (4x/week)
Adapted trending audio and formats into relevant industry content
Content Creation
Captured and edited photo, video, and b-roll content from real job sites
Scripted and launched the “Pro-Tip Series”, an educational video mini-series to showcase on-site expertise
Built and designed engaging carousels, reels, and pins that blend value, personality, and professionalism
