What if a couture website

What if a couture website felt more like a digital fashion editorial than a standard online catalogue? I recently designed and developed this website concept for Lida Couture, a handmade-gown atelier in Limassol, Cyprus.🙌 This self-initiated sample project explores how modern UI/UX, frontend development, and strong art direction can create a premium digital experience for a luxury fashion brand. The interface combines: ✦ Full-screen visual storytelling ✦ Editorial typography and asymmetrical layouts ✦ Evening, Bridal, and Prom collections ✦ Layered imagery and scroll-based transitions ✦ A recent-work gallery and embedded couture reel ✦ A clear step-by-step commission process ✦ A streamlined appointment-request experience ✦ Responsive layouts across desktop and mobile The UX follows a focused journey: Discover the brand → Explore the collections → Understand the process → Request a fitting Technically, the project features responsive typography, reusable UI patterns, optimised imagery, lazy-loaded assets, smooth in-page navigation, accessible form controls, and fast static deployment through Netlify. One of the main challenges was preserving the editorial art direction across different screen sizes. Instead of simply shrinking the desktop design, the layouts, spacing, image framing, and content hierarchy adapt to create an intentional mobile experience. The result is a concept that brings together fashion art direction, UI/UX strategy, brand storytelling, and responsive frontend development.
