Following our ongoing collaboration with Ruelle, a niche fragrance brand, we were invited to develop the visual direction for the launch of their new perfume - Essence.
Essence is a lavender-based fragrance designed to evoke calm, balance, and inner harmony. The goal of this project was not only to visually introduce a new product, but to translate its emotional qualities into a clear, refined, and atmospheric launch concept aligned with the Ruelle brand world.
We developed two distinct visual concepts to explore different emotional angles of the fragrance - one woman-oriented and one product-focused.
Concept 1 - Woman-Oriented
This direction focused on emotion and mood.
At the center is a calm, introspective female presence - soft, slightly melancholic, and serene. The visuals emphasize inner balance, quiet confidence, and a personal connection to the fragrance.
The atmosphere is light yet mysterious, allowing the perfume to feel intimate rather than promotional.

Concept 2 - Scent-Oriented
This direction highlights the fragrance itself and its key note.
Using Ideogram, we explored a visual metaphor where real lavender branches appear inside the transparent perfume bottle.
This approach makes the scent instantly recognizable and reinforces the calming, soothing nature of Essence.
