The researcher's objective is to investigate the relationship between childhood trauma and future aspirations. The researcher plans to compare different types of childhood trauma as ranked data against different types of future aspirations variables, also ranked. The first goal is to examine how each type of trauma affects the aspiration categories by comparing those who experienced trauma to those who did not. The researcher plans to create a binary variable to separate people who did or did not experience a traumatic event.
