I partnered with the Made in Africa Leadership Conference 2023 (MLC23) to create a compelling and cohesive event branding identity. The goal was to develop a strong visual identity that reinforced MLC23’s reputation as a premier platform for leadership, innovation, and collaboration across Africa, ensuring a high-impact African presence both online and offline.

The Made in Africa Leadership Conference (MLC) is a premier event that attracts multinationals, startups, and government agencies to discuss leadership and growth strategies across Africa. With a high Net Promoter Score of 4.8 out of 5, MLC has consistently delivered real value, fostered meaningful connections, and supported organizational growth since 2019.

African-inspired patterns were integrated into the branding elements, adding depth and cultural significance to the visual identity. These patterns appeared on banners, stage backdrops, and marketing materials, reinforcing the conference’s African-centric theme.

I developed a bold color palette inspired by African landscapes, symbolizing growth, resilience, and progress. The typography choices reinforced a sense of authority and clarity, making all branded materials easily readable while maintaining a sophisticated and professional look.

The branding extended to a visually engaging conference website, ensuring a seamless user experience for attendees. The site featured the event schedule, speaker profiles, and registration details while maintaining a strong and cohesive brand presence.

To maintain brand consistency across all platforms, I created a detailed design presentation outlining logo applications, color usage, typography guidelines, and best practices for digital and print media. This document served as a reference for all stakeholders involved in promoting and executing the event.
