Kwiq needed to become a full crypto marketplace, having started as a gift card trading app. The interface was dated, the flows were clunky, and the incoming audience is structurally sceptical - crypto users have been burned and assume the worst about any interface they do not immediately understand.

Redesigned wallet management, crypto-to-fiat conversion, KYC onboarding and real-time market data inside a one-month window.

Treated trust as a design surface rather than a copy problem: showing network confirmations honestly, stating fees before commitment rather than after, and never using a loading state that could be mistaken for a failed transaction.

Redesigned KYC as the highest-drop-off flow it always is - explaining why each document is required at the point of asking, which is the cheapest available intervention.

Prototyped in Framer and tested before engineering wrote code, which is the only way a one-month redesign is defensible.
