In February 2022, Nelle found herself at the heart of one of the most exciting events in the sports and entertainment industry – the Moet Hennessy NBA All Stars Weekend in Cleveland, Ohio. She worked on this project from October 2021 - February 2022. As a key member of the team, she took on the crucial role of facilitating product distribution and ensuring seamless access to Moet Hennessy products at various venues throughout the weekend.
One of Nelle's primary responsibilities was to oversee the distribution of branding items to the private client facing dinner, an exclusive event attended by high-profile guests and NBA stars. She meticulously coordinated the purchase and distribution of branded materials, ensuring they perfectly represented the luxury and elegance associated with the Moet Hennessy brand.
In addition to her branding duties, Nelle took charge of vendor outreach and payments. She maintained strong relationships with suppliers and partners, securing timely delivery of products and services while ensuring all contractual obligations were met. Her attention to detail and effective negotiation skills ensured a smooth and successful collaboration with external vendors.
As the event approached, Nelle actively facilitated the opening and closing of Statements of Work (SOWs) with various stakeholders. These documents outlined the scope of work, responsibilities, and deliverables for each aspect of the event, and Nelle made sure they were executed correctly, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the project.
Adept at managing budgets, Nelle utilized SAP software to meticulously track expenses, allocations, and revenue streams. She played a pivotal role in budget management, ensuring that all financial aspects of the event were meticulously organized and adhered to.
Furthermore, Nelle's role extended to facilitating check-in meetings for the directors and Vice President of the Core Bubbles Department, providing them with up-to-date status reports, highlighting critical issues, and presenting viable solutions to any challenges that arose. Her ability to communicate effectively and stay organized proved instrumental in streamlining decision-making processes during the high-paced NBA All Stars Weekend.
Throughout the event, Nelle's passion for her work and commitment to excellence shone through.
