Project Overview

Miso Magic is a dynamic and innovative Japanese restaurant specializing in authentic and modern Japanese cuisine. Their mission is to bring a unique dining experience that combines traditional flavors with contemporary twists. They believe in the power of food to create memorable moments and foster a sense of community.

Objectives

The target audience for this restaurant is young people between the ages of 18 and 30 who are looking for exciting and immersive dining experiences. They are adventurous, open-minded, and seek novel experiences that go beyond traditional restaurant visits. The objective was to create a logo that speaks to people seeking fun experiences, and leaves a lasting impression while establishing the brand as a go-to destination for innovative and immersive dining experiences.

Design Direction

A mood board establishing a feeling for the brand was developed to guide the designing of the logo concept. This was accompanied by a rationale to create a clearer picture of where the design was heading.

Results

Based on the pre-established strategy, bold lettering with an unpolished feel was used for the wordmark to convey the spirit of eccentricity and friendliness. A colour palette with vibrant colours complements the logo and further establishes the cheerful and adventurous nature of the brand.
