🔍 Overview

About the Platform Sentra, a cross-border payment app which helps individuals and businesses send and receive money globally, with a focus on speed, transparency, and security. As the platform grew, so did the need to manage sales performance, monitor user activity, and flag suspicious behavior. That’s where the Sales & Fraud Management Dashboard came in.
Project Goal Design a powerful internal dashboard to help compliance, sales, and operations teams manage user activity, detect fraud patterns, resolve disputes, and track financial health — all within one cohesive interface.
The dashboard had to serve multiple internal stakeholders, supporting quick decision-making, real-time monitoring, and detailed reporting. Navigation included:

📁 Process

Discovery & Research We held working sessions with internal stakeholders – from compliance officers to customer support – to understand their workflows, pain points, and goals. This helped us design with real needs in mind, not assumptions.
Information Architecture & Flows We mapped out how each team interacts with data. This led to a clear IA, separating workflows into key modules (Users, Financials, Referrals, etc.) and defining user journeys for tasks like dispute resolution, account reviews, and fraud flagging.
Design Execution Given the complexity and sensitivity of the data, we prioritized clarity, accessibility, and responsiveness. A clean layout, intuitive filtering, and layered views allowed users to go from high-level insights to granular data with minimal friction.

🎨 Design Highlights

💼 User Management A central space to view and manage user accounts, with advanced filters to drill down by country, risk score, verification status, or transaction volume.
Key Actions:
View full user profile with KYC/ID info
Flag/suspend accounts
Track user transaction history
📊 Financial Gives a snapshot of overall platform health – from total volume and revenue breakdown to suspicious transaction patterns.
Features:
Graphs for inflow/outflow trends
Currency-specific performance
Filters by region, partner, or user cohort
🔁 Referrals Tracks how users are acquired and rewarded. This module shows:
Top-performing referrers
Referral conversion rate
Fraudulent referral patterns
⚠️ Disputes Customer disputes require urgency and clarity. We designed a streamlined table and case view:
All open/closed disputes with severity tags
Inline messaging between support teams
Attachments, notes, and dispute resolution history
🛡 Fraud & Risk Signals (Built into all modules) We added visual risk indicators across the system – flags, scores, timelines – to help teams spot red flags early. Each transaction and user action could be cross-checked in seconds.
📄 Reports This module allowed managers to generate custom reports, export data, and track team productivity. It supported daily, weekly, or monthly views and could auto-schedule report delivery to stakeholders.
⚙️ System Settings Admins had full control over roles, permissions, and system logs. This allowed different teams to access only what they needed and kept audit trails transparent.

Outcome

The result was a robust and intuitive internal dashboard that empowered internal teams to work faster, smarter, and more collaboratively.
Sales and finance teams could track performance with confidence
Risk analysts had the tools to flag and manage fraud efficiently
Support teams could resolve disputes with clarity and speed
This dashboard not only increased operational efficiency but also reinforced user trust by strengthening the app’s backend systems.
