Background: Death Archetypes is a shared experiment in the lost art of death contemplation. A a contemplative tool designed to illuminate your unconscious attitudes towards the end of life.
Visual Identity: The branding for the Death Archetypes test was rooted in giving contemporary spirituality a look and feel. It needed to feel transcendent and mystical. At the same time it shouldn’t feel too somber and gloomy. By using light violet gradients and pink accents the entire space surrounding Death Archetypes has a contemplative yet airy feeling.
Collateral: Utilizing hooks such as “You may enter.” as taglines for the business cards, even the collateral evokes the feeling of entering a world of self-discovery. Any touchpoint with the Death Archetypes should feel like stepping through a portal to an otherworldly place.

Hero Video: For the launch of the website we concepted a hero video that would act as a teaser and at the same time as a promotion video. We wanted to bring all the design elements, from illustrations to portal animation together and bring an animation version of the website to life.

Web Design: Our mission for the web design of the Death Archetypes quiz was to conjure a feeling of lightness to the interface. Giving enough seriousness to the subject matter of death while at the same time celebrating the opportunity to contemplate and therefore live a fuller life. Subtle gradients and transparent elements give the website an atmospheric feel.
Developed a complete mystical brand identity and website for Death Archetypes. We also art directed and produced a full hero-launch animation to bring it alive.
