Currently Growing Instagram Followers by 500 Monthly: A Content Specialist's Journey to Amplify Factofly's Community and Brand Engagement
🚀 Who is Factofly?
Factofly is a danish start up. Their mission is to make the life of a freelancer as easy as possible by taking over all administrative work with taxes, VAT, insurance and much more. With more than 10.000 freelance users Factofly is striving to become every danish freelancers go to agency.

I'm currently working as a Content Specialist at Factofly. Here I oversee the entire content journey, from ideation to execution across multiple channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and our newsletter.
My position demands creativity, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of our brand's voice, allowing me to play a crucial role in building and nurturing our community.
Balancing a broad set of responsibilities, I drive engagement and foster brand loyalty, making every day an opportunity to innovate and connect with our audience in meaningful ways.
Instagram Strategy
The account is driven by four overarching goals: brand awareness, traffic growth, new user acquisition, and community engagement. To achieve these, a variety of content formats, including stories, carousels, and reels, along with new highlights, are posted regularly.
Content spans across categories such as employee tips, freelancer insights, memes, guides, news, and information about Factofly. With five months of full-time dedication to the profile, the results speak volumes.
It was also essential for me to incorporate more personality through faces and quirky memes, showcasing that Factofly is modern and understands its audience, while also providing the recipient with some more in-depth guides.
The reason behind creating a TikTok account was to reach 4 overall goals:
Brand Awareness
Increase brand awareness among new users. On TikTok, there's a great chance to reach a wide audience without having many followers.
Employee Branding
Showcase Factofly as an attractive workplace.
Generate traffic
Use TikTok to promote the website and Instagram.
First movers
Be among the first in the industry to be on TikTok.
The TikTok account would show case a more fun, behind the scenes, personal side of the brand, that the Instagram profile did not allow in the same extent. Sharing the everyday life in Factofly, jokes about freelancers and not having a strong brand focus resonated more with users.
