FAQs

What should our marketing goals be with a digital marketer?

Think about what you want to achieve. Is it more followers, better search rankings, or more sales? Clear goals help the marketer make the right plan for you.

How can a digital marketer align with our brand voice?

Share your brand guidelines with them. Let them know your style, colors, and phrases you like to use. This helps the marketer create content that matches your brand perfectly.

How do we set clear deliverables for a digital marketer?

List the tasks you want done, like making social media posts or running ads. Set deadlines for each task. This helps everyone know what to expect and when it's due.

What should our timeline for the marketing project look like?

Decide when you want the project to start and end. Check if the timeline is realistic for the marketer's schedule. Planning a timeline keeps things on track.

How should we communicate with the digital marketer during the project?

Choose a way to chat, like email or video calls. Decide how often you want to have updates. Good communication helps solve problems quickly and keeps everyone happy.

How do we assess if a digital marketing strategy is working?

Look at the numbers, like how many clicks or followers you get. Compare them to your goals to see if you're improving. If the strategy is working, these numbers should go up.

What tools should the digital marketer use for the project?

Discuss with the marketer about tools they're comfortable with. Make sure they fit what you need for your project. Right tools make the work smooth and efficient.

What should be included in the feedback to the digital marketer?

Tell them what's working well and what could be better. Be specific about any changes you want. Good feedback helps the marketer improve and deliver great results.

How can we ensure the marketing efforts are cost-efficient?

Set a budget for the project. Talk with the marketer to see how to reach your goals without overspending. Budgeting helps keep your costs under control.

How do we measure the return on investment for our marketing efforts?

Look at what you spent vs. what you gained, like new customers or more sales. See if you met your goals with the help of the marketer. A good ROI means your money was well spent.

Folake & Co. | Website Design + Digital Experience For Folake & Co., a DMV-based coffee and matcha cart, I developed a five-page website concept designed to translate the brand’s playful personality, cultural influence and vibrant menu into a more complete digital experience. The visual direction built on Folake’s existing organic wordmark and earthy color palette while introducing stronger typography, layout structure, photography and calls to action. The website was designed to feel colorful and energetic without becoming visually overwhelming, allowing the coffee, matcha, plantain syrup and event experiences to remain central to the story. I structured the website around the different ways someone might discover and interact with the business, whether they wanted to learn more about Folake, explore the menu, book the cart for an event or find upcoming appearances. My work included: • website strategy and creative direction; • user journey and information architecture; • custom five-page website concept; • responsive Home page design; • About page and brand storytelling; • Menu page organization and presentation; • Book the Cart inquiry experience; • Events page design; • custom-coded interactive website prototype; • navigation and page-flow development; • visual hierarchy and typography system; • integration of the existing logo and brand assets; • earthy color palette application; • photography selection and image placement; • coffee, matcha and product-focused storytelling; • booking and inquiry calls to action; • mobile-responsive layout planning; • embedded imagery and website assets; • final prototype testing and presentation preparation. The final concept gave Folake & Co. a digital home that felt as distinctive and inviting as the physical cart experience. It brought the brand story, menu, bookings and events into one cohesive space while creating a stronger foundation for visibility, customer discovery and future growth. This website was developed as a pitch concept and was not ultimately published by the brand.
