On September 22, 2019, Transport for London (TFL) and the Mayor of London cleared the city roads of traffic, allowing Londoners and visitors to experience the benefits of walking, cycling, and riding through normally congested streets.
As part of this initiative, the Wanderlust team organized a series of wellness events that transformed the city landscape into a haven for health and well-being activities.
Highlights of the event
1000 Yogis on Tower Bridge: At 7 AM, as the traffic lights turned red, 1000 yogis set their mats on the iconic Tower Bridge, participating in a mass yoga session despite the rainy weather.
Full-day Wellness Events: Over 400 attendees participated in free wellness activities held throughout the day at Aldermanbury Square.
Media Coverage: The event received extensive coverage, featuring in major publications such as BBC, Evening Standard, and Forbes.
