Leasetic Extranet: a partner portal for IT leasing quotes

Antoine Rousseau

Antoine Rousseau

A bilingual web portal where IT resellers build equipment financing proposals in three steps and leave with a proposal PDF ready to sign, while Leasetic controls rates and partners from one admin space.
Role: Product lead and product designer, who also built it end-to-end with Claude Code, from scoping to production. Tools: Figma, Claude Code, Next.js, ReUI and shadcn, Vercel, Neon Postgres Year: 2026

The challenge

Leasetic finances IT and telecom equipment for companies, and much of that business arrives through resellers and integrators. Before the Extranet, a partner could not price a lease alone: every quote needed the Leasetic team to run the numbers and send the proposal back. The partner channel could not grow while every quote needed a person in the middle.
The goal was set as one of three partner tools in the group roadmap: give partners their own space to price a lease, produce a proposal their customer can sign, and do it without waiting on the Leasetic team.

Two spaces, one product

I designed and built the Extranet, pairing with Claude Code, around two audiences with very different needs.
opens on a home page with this month's proposals, drafts, and the latest activity, and keeps navigation short: home, new proposal, proposals, history, and help. Nothing else competes for attention.
The admin space holds six entries for the Leasetic team: partners, financing coefficients with a visual diff and full history, reference data, and settings. Partners join via a secure link and set their own password, so onboarding a reseller takes minutes.
Keeping both menus short became a written product decision, so later design work could not quietly grow them.

The proposal flow

Creating a proposal is a three-step wizard: parameters, calculation, then verification, before issuing the PDF. The calculation step shows the monthly rent with its full working (amount, rate tier, coefficient, and duration), so a partner can explain the price to the customer with confidence.
The PDF is the real deliverable for the end customer, so it is generated with fixed styles and checked against a reference fingerprint. The same inputs always give the same document, byte for byte.

Built for French and European business

The whole interface ships in French and English from one dictionary of 1,466 keys. Hosting and data stay in the European Union (Vercel in Frankfurt and Paris, Neon Postgres in the EU), and we keep every proposal for the 10 years French commercial law requires. I also wrote the corresponding GDPR updates for the Leasetic privacy policy, so the product and its legal pages launched in step.

Outcome

Partners now price and issue their own financing proposals, and the Leasetic team moved from typing quotes to approving partners and tuning rates. The Extranet now has 10 active users, and the product runs on a test suite of 1,189 automated tests, all passing.

How I work with Claude Code

I set the vision: the references, the user journeys, and the key UX and UI decisions. Claude Code writes the code to that brief, and we check every step in the browser, in both themes, before it lands.
