With seed funding of $2.56M (Crunchbase), Sumwall needed a way to go from pitch deck to brand identity.

The team were building something important: innovative cybersecurity for a safer digital future. Like many tech brands, they faced the challenge of making complex ideas feel accessible. They needed a visual language that could invite people in rather than lock them out with jargon and intimidation, as well as find a way to sell their ideas, visually.

We co-created a flexible visual identity built on simple grids and abstract illustrations that could adapt and evolve endlessly. The system was designed to break down barriers, so we could transform technical concepts into visual stories that anyone could understand. We wanted the brand to feel as innovative and approachable as their mission. And because great work deserves celebration, we designed some fun merch to honor the dev team's 2+ years of dedication behind the scenes.
