Designed an interface for building permit management, boosting conversion rates and usability.
Increase productivity for Building permit mangement webapp users
A cantonal (Swiss state) office responsible for building permits approached us to support their digitalization project, which aimed to create an online platform for architects and administrators to collaborate on building permits. The process involved multiple personas and came with technical and budget constraints.
My role
After aligning with stakeholders on goals and constraints, I designed an interface to manage building permit requests, incorporating data visualization, task management, and interactive features.
Results
Working with a colleague and mentoring a junior designer, we redesigned the B2C platform, resulting in a significant conversion rate increase from 85% to 95%. Additionally, the B2B interface saw improved usability, especially in the 3D visualization section.
