Katari is my Thesis proposal for my Master's program at KIT (Kyoto Institute of Technology), which obtained the Excellence Award of 2021.
Exploration and Challenge
The Language Vlog Katari is a project that explores Japanese language acquisition studies and how international students can practice daily life conversations.
The research focused on analyzing videos made on Social Media platforms, the interactions of international students with native or fluent speakers, and gathering resources available for studying Japanese outside the classroom. With the combination of Surveys, Interviews, and creating more than ten application prototypes to be tested in Workshops.

Design Process
I conducted desktop research, surveys, workshops for retrieving value, tested and selected a Stable API for my Prototype. After several prototyping trials, I gathered the core features and tested the new prototypes in a workshop.
