The Akbank Apple Watch was created in line with Akbank’s mobile strategy. It was the first transaction enabled wearable application that completes the banking experience.

Akbank, the largest independent bank in Turkey, approached us to fully re-design their banking platform, introduce innovative new features and tools which I led from the start.

The main strategic objective with the Akbank Apple Watch application was to increase brand awareness. This was achieved by leading the industry with the most comprehensive, and best-in-class wearable application while building upon Akbank’s everyday banking mobile approach.

My role - Experience Design Director leading the entire initiative and designing a new banking platform along with a first of its kind Apple Watch Banking App.
