I collaborated with Olimpio; a B2B and SaaS ad agency, to develop turbo-charged direct response landing pages for their client; DusseauandCo.
The landing pages included over 5 service pages for the different industries they developed software for including Finance, Healthcare, and Machine Learning.
It also included pages like a Startup Assessment landing page - to convert readers to warm leads and a tuned-in, active audience.
The game plan was to first understand the audience with "Voice of Customer" research. This informed me about how the audience speaks, who they are, and their goals and aspirations.
After knowing this, it was just a matter of finding our unique brand positioning, and how we could take advantage of gaps in the market. In our case, the gap was a lack of information that did not involve selling something.
So we created a mini-blog series to educate founders on the different startup stages; this trickled down to a landing page where they could take a free startup assessment or book a call. Now they could determine what stage their startups were and how to take action; to seamlessly move to the next stage and scale their businesses.
Aside from adding value to the founders and businesses, this also built trust because we didn't directly want anything from the audience, we could form genuine connections.
Within 4 months, we acquired qualified leads for our email funnels and booked more sales calls than ever before - in fact, we closed 3 startups between March and April alone.
