Goal + Overview

In the increasingly digital age, influencers have become an integral part of a brand's marketing strategy. I was able to lead the creation of our influencer program + campaigns at Contra
Our primary goal was to enhance brand recognition and reach, as well as to cultivate a community around our brand values and services. This is an overview of my work 👇

Version 1

In creating Contra's version 1 influencer campaign program, our focus was on building a continuous and sustainable partnership with influencers rather than short-term, one-off collaborations.

We recognized the power of consistency and authenticity in creating a lasting impact. The program was initiated by meticulously identifying influencers who shared our brand's vision and ethos.

We were keen on building relationships with those who understood the pulse of independent knowledge professionals, our core audience. We then reached out to them with a clear and comprehensive partnership proposal, detailing how they could benefit from the association, ensuring a win-win situation for all parties involved.

The selected influencers were then integrated into our social media content and we continuously engaged with them, offering feedback, brainstorming ideas, and fostering a sense of community.
This ongoing program not only boosted our brand's visibility but also ensured a steady stream of authentic content and fresh perspectives, significantly driving engagement and growth on our social platforms.

Version 2

Building on the success of Contra's continuous influencer campaign, we developed a version 2 influencer program specifically designed for one-off product launches. The key was to create a buzz around the new product, Portfolios by Contra, sparking curiosity and interest among our target audience of digital creators + freelancers!

First, we identified influencers who had a strong alignment with the product and our brand values. We then briefed them on the product's unique features, benefits, and the key messaging we wanted to convey.

This was followed by planning and executing a synchronized campaign where all our influencers shared their genuine experiences with the product on the same day, amplifying the product launch's reach and impact.

Despite being a one-off campaign, we ensured open lines of communication and offered support to the influencers, strengthening the partnership. This approach resulted in a successful product launch, significantly raising awareness and generating considerable excitement for our new offering.

Authenticity is Key: Genuine influencers who believe in your brand enhance the trustworthiness and impact of the campaign.
Integration in the Community: Involving influencers in your brand's journey boosts engagement and strengthens the brand image.
Choosing Users of the Product: Influencers who use your product add credibility to their endorsements and provide honest reviews.
Paying Their Worth: Fair compensation encourages quality content and fosters lasting, positive relationships with influencers. Payment should be healthily negotiated.
