Gaviota Tours: A Visual System Across Print, Social, and Video
From 2018 to 2023, Gaviota Tours needed ongoing visual communication across brochures, catalogs, social campaigns, events, and video. The work had to support different destinations, seasonal offers, and formats while keeping the brand recognizable over time.
My role
I worked as a Brand Designer, applying and maintaining the visual system across print, social media, and video.
My responsibility was to make the brand usable in day-to-day communication: clear enough for information-heavy materials, consistent enough for recurring campaigns, and flexible enough to work across different channels.
What I designed
Print materials
Brochures and catalogs for travel products and industry events. I organized destination, excursion, and offer information through hierarchy, typography, color, and photography.
Social media campaigns
Reusable visual formats for seasonal campaigns, destination content, offers, and travel updates. The system made recurring communication feel connected without repeating the same layout.
Video assets
Short-form videos for social media, using edited footage, typography, subtitles, music, and brand elements. The pieces were designed to communicate clearly with or without sound.
The visual system in practice
Across formats, I used the same core visual decisions:
A color palette inspired by Caribbean light and coastal landscapes
Legible typography for information-heavy travel content
Authentic destination photography
Consistent spacing, proportions, and layout structure
Reusable elements that could adapt to print, social, and video
The work below shows how the system was applied across multiple years and touchpoints.
Gaviota Tours brochures showing Cuban destinations, excursions, and travel experiences
Gaviota Tours institutional catalog for excursions and destinations
Gaviota Tours social media campaigns for destinations and travel offers
Gaviota Tours visual communication material
This project shows my ability to maintain a visual system over time, adapting it to new formats and campaigns without losing clarity or recognition.
