MediaHuis, Ireland’s largest print and digital media publisher, connects with millions of readers every day. They asked me to design a logo for their new recruitment initiative, the M.E.T. Programme (MediaHuis Emerging Talent).
The brief called for a modern, professional mark that would sit comfortably alongside the core MediaHuis brand while appealing to young journalists across news, video, and lifestyle.
To create this, I adapted the existing MediaHuis logo by removing the base of the house icon and rotating it into a forward-pointing arrow. This symbol represents momentum, opportunity, and the career progression open to emerging reporters within the organisation.
By retaining MediaHuis’ established colours and typography, the result is a cohesive design that aligns with the parent brand while giving the M.E.T. Programme its own distinctive, contemporary presence.
