Cloud-based HVAC IoT control platform



In this project, I spearheaded the design of a revolutionary multi-device platform for controlling commercial HVAC units via an IoT cloud platform. The key objectives were to increase client engagement, simplify control over various HVAC aspects, and promote energy efficiency while ensuring comfort.



I aimed to introduce new products and services, foster responsible energy use, and motivate clients to optimize product use. I measured success through improved customer confidence in digital products, increased awareness of air curtain impact, and observable changes in client behaviour.



To start, I conducted research to understand our product's business logic and our target user's needs, creating personas, customer journey maps, and flow maps in the process. I also addressed essential questions about the purpose, audience, references, and limitations of the operation modes.



My quantitative research found that most users preferred direct control over presets when more than three modes were available, leading to the development of new potential solutions.
