Discovery

My role was to craft a user-friendly and emotionally resonant online platform for Ditta Zimmermann, a brand known for its exquisitely designed Polish jewelry. I started by diving into the essence of the brand and its customers, focusing on creating a design that evokes feelings of elegance and sophistication. Through thorough UX research, I developed user personas and mapped out user journeys to understand how customers interact with the site. The goal was to build a platform that showcases each piece not just as a product, but as a personal story, reflecting the deeper connection between the jewelry and its wearer.

Implementation

Using Figma, I designed the website with a focus on minimalism and elegance, ensuring that the jewelry pieces were the centerpiece of the experience. The design emphasized clean lines, soft color palettes, and a highly intuitive navigation system, guiding users effortlessly through the collections. I collaborated closely with a developer during the implementation phase on Shoper, ensuring that the site remained faithful to the design while optimizing for performance and responsiveness across all devices. Custom elements like zoomable product views, a responsive grid layout, and high-quality imagery were added to give users a seamless shopping experience.

Evaluation

After the website was live, I closely monitored user behavior and feedback to continuously optimize the site. Thanks to the SEO strategies implemented by Exelmedia and the user-centered design, the website achieved higher engagement rates and increased customer satisfaction. The clean design and easy navigation contributed to a smooth shopping experience, driving conversions and helping the brand connect with its target audience on a personal level.
