Project: Web Design and UX/UI for High Heels Code
Website: highheelscode.com
Discovery
The primary focus of this project was to create a user-friendly, visually engaging website for High Heels Code. I started by conducting UX research, which involved developing user personas, creating empathy maps, and outlining user flows to ensure that the design would address the real needs of our target audience. I also performed a competitive analysis to gather insights from industry leaders, helping shape the site’s look and functionality.
Implementation
Using Figma, I designed the site with a clean, minimalist aesthetic that aligns with the brand identity. The emphasis was on readability, intuitive navigation, and a responsive layout that would look great across all devices. I integrated custom animations to add visual interest and enhance the overall user experience. The design process focused on creating an engaging, high-quality interface that encourages interaction while maintaining clarity and simplicity.
Evaluation
Once the design was live, I continually monitored user interactions through tools like Hotjar and Google Analytics to gain insights on how visitors navigated the site. This data allowed me to make informed adjustments to improve the overall user experience. The result was a modern, user-centric website that successfully showcases High Heels Code’s projects while offering a seamless browsing experience.
