Designing a Lower-Pressure Therapy Onboarding Flow
Challenge: Despite strong engagement after launch, therapy bookings remained low because many users felt emotionally unready to immediately speak to a therapist.
Approach: Led user research and designed a low-pressure self-assessment flow that helped users privately explore their emotional state before committing to therapy.
Outcome: Created a softer onboarding experience that improved trust and engagement, with 42 assessment starts, 31 completions, and 29 email conversions during a live pilot.
