Mykonos Yachts: Luxury Charter Site Refresh

Mykonos Yachts runs premium day cruises, multi-day charters, and a curated fleet out of Mykonos. The brand is built on exclusivity and a refined travel experience. The website was not carrying any of it.
A constrained brief, which is the interesting part. The structure already worked and the client did not want it touched. No layout changes, no interaction changes, nothing under the WordPress hood. Only the visual layer. That constraint is what made the project worth doing: it forces you to find where perception actually lives.
What was wrong. Photography felt random. Typography was dated. Sections were crowded with no breathing room. Most costly of all, key pages like Day Cruises never communicated the value or the exclusivity of what was being sold.
Refinement, not reinvention. Working inside the existing framework, I focused on the four things that shape how premium something feels: visual hierarchy, spacing, typography, and imagery. A lighter, more balanced palette. More generous spacing to create openness. A clearer visual rhythm holding across every page.
Typography did most of the work. The direction moved editorial: elegant headline faces paired with clean, highly readable body text. Polished and sophisticated, still functional and easy to navigate.
Imagery as a design decision. Instead of inconsistent visuals, curated photography that carries both the yachts and the Mykonos lifestyle, so the emotional register matches the price point.
Handover. Everything delivered in Figma, desktop and mobile, with typography and imagery guidelines so the team could implement inside the existing system without guesswork.
Timeline: 3 weeks. Year: 2025. I led art direction and the visual redesign.
