In early 2020, Roham Fayazi joined the Actio team as a freelance UX/UI Designer and Illustrator, contributing to the development of a live coaching app aimed at helping users establish and maintain routines in areas like yoga, fitness, and meditation.

Project Overview

Actio is designed to assist users in building healthy habits through daily sessions. The app offers a range of courses from beginner to advanced levels, enabling users to track their progress and stay motivated.

Design Process and Role

During the collaboration from January 2020 to April 2021, Roham focused on designing and developing key features to enhance user engagement and experience.
Statistics Screen
User Streaks: Displayed current and longest streaks to motivate consistent participation.
Recent Sessions: Showcased the last seven sessions, indicating completed and missed classes.
Monthly Comparison: Provided a 28-day activity overview, allowing users to compare current performance with the previous month.
Spider Graph Visualization: Implemented to give users a clear understanding of their progress across different courses.
Transfer Account Feature
Seamless Device Transition: Enabled users to transfer their accounts between devices without losing progress.
Automatic Data Sync: Ensured that logging into a new device would synchronize all user data and session history.

Information Architecture

Roham contributed to structuring the app's information architecture, ensuring intuitive navigation and accessibility. This involved organizing content hierarchies and designing user flows that align with user expectations and behaviors.

B2B and SaaS Integration

Beyond individual user features, Actio expanded into the B2B sector, offering businesses customizable coaching programs to enhance employee well-being. Roham's design contributions supported features like short meditation sessions, enabling employees to take brief breaks and rejuvenate, thereby improving workplace productivity.

Conclusion

Through a user-centered design approach, Roham Fayazi played a pivotal role in enhancing Actio's functionality and user experience, contributing to both individual user engagement and corporate wellness solutions.
