context
By conducting user research, we discovered that 87% of individuals crave more enjoyment in strength training, while 73% believe exercise would be more fun if it felt like a game. In response, STÆDIUM by Freeletics was created: a smart, addictive out-of-the-gym training experience that combines full-body exercises with engaging gamification. This innovation introduces a new category of fitness: strength gaming.
The core of the STÆDIUM ecosystem revolves around using a mobile phone as a camera tracker and gaming interface, linked to a TV via a dock. This setup enables real-time tracking of body movements during gameplay, while all game catalogues, user profiles, and records are easily accessible through the mobile app.
