ClimateForce Website Design
My Design Approach
I wanted this site to feel as expansive and hopeful as the landscape itself. That sweeping hero image of rolling green hills and dramatic sky sets the tone - this isn't just another environmental nonprofit, it's about real, large-scale restoration work. The typography is bold and confident because when you're talking about a 527-acre project, you need to command attention and communicate serious impact.
Alternate homepage concept for ClimateForce.
What I Built
Immediate Credibility: Right off the bat, visitors see this is a legitimate operation - not just good intentions, but actual acreage and measurable goals. The "527-acre restoration project" headline tells people exactly what scale we're working at.
Trust Through Partnership: I included that "Trusted by" section with major players like Edelman, KPMG, and others because in the environmental space, people need to know serious organizations are backing the work. It's social proof that actually matters.
Data That Inspires: Instead of burying the impact metrics, I made them visual and prominent - "360,000+ native trees we aim to plant" feels way more powerful than a paragraph of text about restoration goals. The blue data visualization gives it that scientific credibility.
Clear Action Paths: Whether someone wants to become a partner or just learn more, the buttons are strategically placed to capture different levels of engagement. Not everyone's ready to commit, but everyone can take a next step.
The whole design balances the serious science behind ecosystem restoration with the emotional appeal of actually healing damaged landscapes. It's for people who want to see real environmental change, not just feel good about it.
