Bisats - Crypto P2P platform

Bisats is a crypto peer-to-peer (P2P) exchange, allowing customers and vendors trade crypto for FIAT in a digital environment that is regulatory compliant and safe for all participants.

Long transaction time: Trades on P2p platforms such as Bybit and OKX can take from 2minutes to 30minutes to be completed.

Fraud: Fraud is a prevalent issue in many p2p platforms. The designed p2p process on current p2p platforms leave loopholes for scammers to exploit and scam unsuspecting counterparties.

Red-flagged bank accounts: On few occasions, bank accounts that have been involved in criminal activities are used for p2p trades. This could put the counterparty in trouble with the authorities.

Bisat’s P2P design overshadows the flaws of regular p2p platforms. An escrow system is built for all ads which creates a fraud-proof environment for both counter-parties and reduces transaction time by 90%.

As a regular user of exchanges such as OKX and Bybit, I was familiar with the flows and interface of their p2p products. I explored other platforms such as Bybit and Binance to have broader insight of their distinct features.

During the course of designing the user flows I realized that a situation where an asset is experiencing extreme volatility had been overlooked. I created a logical solution that allowed vendors set a dynamic price that moves according to the latest market price instead of staying fixed.

Bisats is still under development and is set to launch by Q2 2025. The client was impressed and satisfied with the design outcome, and there are plans to build the mobile app after the web app launches.
