Electric Mountain Bike Design & Assembly

To design an electric mountain bike using standard components and my own unique design for the motor, frame & suspension layout. Showing all the component parts being assembled in an interesting and realistic way.

Using some standard 3D models for brakes, drivetrain and tyres, I designed a full suspension frame and electric motor with realistic internals.

Creating a realistic assembly of chain and sprockets required a lot of small parts all very accurately positioned - I found a way to do this using a bezier curve to guide the motion of the chain parts.

The motor internals are based on exploded views and technical drawings of motors currently available on the market. Helical gears, stator, PCB, clutch and casings are designed to look realistic.
