CareMobi

CareMobi invites multiple caregivers to collaborate and share important updates and track the health progress of their care recipient. CareMobi unlocks peace of mind for caregivers and better care for patients.
Platform: iOS + Web Role: UX/UI Design

Discovery & Planning

The NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing approached our team with the concept of CareMobi and shared excellent insights from potential users and domain experts. We worked with their team to develop and prioritize a product roadmap, detailed user story list, and user flows. We also conducted a detailed competitive analysis to help align all stakeholders on CareMobi's potential competitive edge.

Onboarding

Our primary focus was to develop a supportive experience for new users and ensure they quickly grasp the app's value. Instead of insisting users create a care team and send invitations post sign up, we permit them to navigate through the app and understand the kind of content they can add using illustrative empty states.

Logging Health Progress

To keep data entry as efficient as possible we used progressive disclosure to reduce cognitive load, only displaying additional fields when relevant and using iconography where possible. Through additional conversations with users we learned health care professionals often need to log multiple vitals at once.

User Testing & Ongoing Iterations

Post-launch, CareMobi tested the product with a small number of care teams before promoting the application to a wider audience. This identified a number of small usability fixes and new feature ideas. The team has been able to return to the product multiple times to design and build new features like audio notes for appointments, improved notifications, new concepts for logging mood updates, post comments, and much more!
