Petigo began as a freelance project. I was brought in to design a few core screens for a new pet marketplace. But as the product vision grew, so did my role. I eventually joined full-time as Lead Product Designer, helping shape Petigo into more than just a marketplace.

The product page was designed to do more than just showcase an item. It became a key bridge between buyers and sellers. Each listing includes rich product data, seller details, availability, and recommendations tailored to the user's pet profile. We wanted the page to feel trustworthy and informative.

The cart experience was designed to feel light, clear, and flexible. Users can easily manage multiple items, apply discounts (e.g. for shelters or breeders), and see how their choices align with their pet’s dietary profile. For sellers, the cart also reflects stock status in real time, helping ensure a smooth transaction on both sides.

Navigation was one of the trickiest parts to get right. It had to serve two very different needs: a buyer looking for a quick and smooth shopping experience, and a seller managing listings, orders, and stock.

We designed a clear, modular system that feels intuitive on the surface, but reveals depth when needed. The mega menu makes browsing by category or brand easy, while the seller panel is just a click away. Seamlessly integrated, without overwhelming the core experience.

One of the most innovative features we built was the AI Diet Configurator — a tool that turns pet data into real, personalized product recommendations. By collecting details like weight, age, allergies, and activity level, the system suggests food and supplements tailored to each pet’s needs.

It wasn’t just a smart filter. It was developed in collaboration with veterinary experts to offer real value and trust. For users, it felt like shopping with a nutritionist by your side. For Petigo, it became a defining feature that set the platform apart.

For sellers, we designed a powerful yet approachable admin panel that brings clarity to everyday operations. From product management and stock sync to real-time order tracking and financial reporting. Everything is in one place.

Sellers can easily access invoices, monitor revenue, manage returns, and control their payout schedule. Whether you're an individual or a business with external integrations, the system adapts to your workflow without overwhelming you.

To keep up with the product’s rapid evolution, I created a token-based design system. It allowed us to move fast without sacrificing consistency. This system became a shared language between design and development, making collaboration smoother and the product more resilient as new features rolled out.

Petigo was much more than an online pet store. It was a product built around empathy, flexibility, and smart infrastructure for people who care deeply about animals, and for sellers who want to grow their businesses with confidence.
