Project overview Product: GlowPulse Engagement: Product positioning, macOS UI and product website My role: Product design, UX/UI, web design Tools: Figma
The challenge A camera-based heart-rate monitor sounds unfamiliar and can immediately raise questions about accuracy and privacy. The product needed to explain the technology without medical overclaiming, show value quickly and make it clear that camera frames never leave the Mac.
The approach I built the narrative around three questions: what does it do, how does it work, and can I trust it? Product UI and marketing content were designed together so signal quality, BPM, breathing sessions and privacy use the same language across every touchpoint.
The solution The site leads with the core proposition: no wearable and no cloud. It then explains the workflow in three steps. Oversized typography makes a technical idea understandable at a glance, while orange signals live measurement and connects the site to the macOS interface.
The outcome GlowPulse launched with a complete product story, a focused macOS experience and a live product site linked to the Mac App Store. The final system communicates an unusual technical capability in plain language while making privacy a visible product benefit.
Deliverables Product positioning, information architecture, macOS interface direction, responsive marketing site, privacy and science communication, pricing and App Store conversion flow.
