Article Writer for Rest Of World

I pitched this story to the Rest of World editor who commissioned this story for publication. My goal was to write a 1500+ word piece, including research and interviews with 3+ people.

1) Conducted interviews with people from diverse backgrounds and transcribed the interviews to write the main piece.

2) Collaborated with the two editors over one week using Google Doc to fact-check, provide additional quotes, and revise the article when needed.

Successfully wrote and organized a 1500+ word piece outlining Facebook matchmaking in Pakistan. Conducted interviews with 5+ people who could enhance this story with their quotes. This story was the top-performing story at Rest Of World for a week.
