They're asking the rest of the world - and particularly the US - to wake up.
Goals/Requirements:
My goal was to write a comprehensive 1500+ word article detailing the current struggles of Afghanistan's LGBTQ community.
Process 🛣
1) Emailed the sources of this article and completed my interviews after which I started the process of transcribing those interviews.
2) Used the quotes to write a 1500+ word article with multiple H1s and H2s that would organize the piece and make it easy to read.
3) Collaborated with the associate editor to fact-check information and be available on a timely basis to answer any follow-up questions or to conduct any revisions.
Results 🎁
Interviewed 4 people and successfully wrote a piece in one week that would describe the struggles of the community in a sensitive manner.
