Boosting Sales and Conversions on a Small Digital Assets Shop

The Problem

As the owner of Upbeat Impulse blog, I aimed to launch a shop section leveraging SEO for marketing. My goals were to boost sales and ranking for the shop, and to rank blog posts while growing subscribers with a lead magnet.

The Process

I focused on optimizing existing blog posts related to the products in my shop and occasionally added new posts based on keyword research. For instance, I linked my Self-Esteem Workbook product to a blog post on self-esteem that ranked well previously. Similarly, I connected my Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Program to another post on dealing with narcissists. Later, I developed Positive Affirmation Cards and linked them to a post about affirmations.
Additionally, I created and optimized product pages for the digital products I intended to sell. I ensured they contained all pertinent information and aimed to address any user questions promptly.

The Results

The first blog post linked to "Self-Esteem Worksheets PDF" ranks for 100+ keywords after 4 years. The second post, "How to Tell a Narcissist Goodbye," now ranks for 150+ keywords after 3 years. The product page for Narcissistic Abuse Recovery PDF started ranking immediately and maintains stable traffic.
Despite halting work on the project, I continue to receive traffic, conversions, and sales of my digital products even four years after implementing the strategy, with no effort to maintain rankings.
